Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Serlinger Ai ("Serlinger Ai," "we," "us"), a service that converts long-form video into shorter, captioned, portrait-format clips ("reels"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Your content, your responsibility

Serlinger Ai doesn't own or claim rights to any sermon, song, message, teaching, speech, or other content you process — you retain whatever rights you already had in it. You are solely responsible for having the legal right to submit and process any content you provide, whether via a link or a direct upload. Don't submit content you don't have the right to use, copy, or repurpose. We may remove content or suspend accounts we reasonably believe are being used to infringe someone else's rights.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use Serlinger Ai, created via Google sign-in or an email and password. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@serlinger-ai.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Free accounts get a one-time trial generation, not a recurring monthly allowance. Paid plans (Standard, Premium, Enterprise) are billed monthly in Nigerian Naira (NGN) through Paystack and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period — you keep your plan's access until the period you've already paid for ends, then your account moves to the Free plan. Extra one-off generations ("credits") beyond your monthly allowance can be purchased separately and don't expire. We don't store your card details — Paystack handles payment processing directly.

5. The free-plan watermark

Reels generated on the Free plan carry a non-removable "Made with Serlinger Ai" watermark. This is independent of any optional logo you upload yourself, and both can appear on the same reel. Paid plans don't carry this watermark.

6. Storage and deletion

Rendered reels and job files are kept for a limited window tied to your plan (currently 2 hours on Free, up to 30 days on Enterprise) and are automatically and permanently deleted after that window — download what you need before it expires. We're not able to recover deleted reels.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use Serlinger Ai to:

• Process content you don't have the right to use;
• Upload or generate unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content;
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, watermarks, or plan restrictions;
• Interfere with or overload the service (including automated abuse of job creation);
• Reverse-engineer or resell the service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

8. Service availability

We work to keep Serlinger Ai available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Processing times depend on source video length and server load and aren't guaranteed.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Serlinger Ai is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serlinger Ai and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of content after a retention window expires. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use Serlinger Ai after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We'll update the date at the top of this page when that happens.
